“About the Breed
The Great Pyrenees is a large, thickly coated, and immensely powerful working dog bred to deter sheep-stealing wolves and other predators on snowy mountaintops. Pyrs today are mellow companions and vigilant guardians of home and family. Frequently described as Majestic, Pyrs are big, immensely strong mountain dogs standing as high as 32 inches at the shoulder and often tipping the scales at more than 100 pounds for males and typically 80-90 pounds for females. These steadfast guardians usually exhibit a Zen-like calm, but they can quickly spring into action and move with grace and speed to meet a threat. The lush weatherproof coat is all white, or white with markings of beautiful shades of gray, tan, reddish-brown, or badger.” -AKC
Our Story With Great Pyrenees
We've been raising Great Pyreenees Since 2014
Great Pyrenees came to be apart of our family first in 2014. Our first Great Pyrenees was Mason, a gorgeous boy who lead our family into a journey with this breed that truly changed our farm. To where we could never have a farm without one of these beautiful giants. Once we became deeply attached to these majestic Guardians we knew we wanted to raise them, but most importantly raise them right! We do things vastly different then most breeder to not only set you up for success, but set your puppy up for success too! We have been raising this special breed for 10 years now! We know our stuff!
